Healthy and Safe Schools Plan

All facilities owned or leased by Prospect School District where students or staff are present on a regular basis are covered by the School-Level Communicable Disease Management Plan Template for School Year 2023-2024

All school districts are required to test and eliminate exposure to elevated level of lead in water used for Drinking and Food Preparation through either remediation or eliminating access, according to OAR 333-061-0400 and OAR 581-022-2223: Prospect School District Lead in Water Test Results Summary Updated Sept. 2021. In addition to the lead in water testing required by OAR 333-061-0400 and OAR 581-022-2223, Prospect School District adheres to quarterly water system testing and annual well testing. Test results are available at: Oregon Health Authority Drinking Water Data Online. Prospect School District complies with the federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA). Prospect School District has developed a Radon Plan as required by ORS 332.167. Initial testing will be conducted in accordance with ORS 332.166-167 before January 1, 2021. Retesting will be conducted in accordance with ORS 332.167 and as recommended by ANSI, AARST, and OHA. Once available, Radon testing results will be found at: Radon Test Results

Prospect School District has developed an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plan as required by ORS 634.700 through 634.750.
