Prospect Charter School

Important Message March 21, 2020

Prospect School District Staff, Families, and Community,

As you know, Governor Kate Brown released an Executive Order that extended the statewide school closure for students in Oregon from Monday, March 16 through April 28. We are preparing for “supplemental school” starting April 1 when we will provide on-line lessons and/or traditional packets to keep our students learning while at home.

We will be asking for a response from families that need delivery of the student’s chromebook or iPad, and breakfast & lunch. We will be receiving calls and emails starting Monday, March 30 after Spring Break. In the meantime if your children see assignments coming now, it’s because our staff are testing the Google classroom. They will not be asked to participate until April 1.

We are fully committed to doing as much as we possibly can for our students and families at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.

Respectfully,
Doug Jantzi
Superintendent
