Our school offers all meals to students at no charge and that means all families will automatically receive extra grocery money during summer break from a program called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT. The grocery money is to make-up for meals students missed while schools and childcare were closed part-time or full-time during the 2020-21 school year. You don’t need to apply for P-EBT. It will be sent automatically to families. Families will get the extra food benefits starting in July and ending in September. If you get SNAP, the benefits will be added to your current account. If you don’t get SNAP, you will get an EBT card in the mail with your benefits so make sure the school has your current mailing address. Families can opt-out of P-EBT by contacting the school at 541-560-3653 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by July 15, 2021.
